Beauty Review: Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes

by Nicole

Since I am a daily make up wearer makeup removal is a big part of my routine. I have tried a couple wipes that I think are pretty good but I am always on the look out for more (as beauty junkies do). I came across the Burt’s Bees towelettes in CVS, liked the ingredients and gave them a try.

Review: These wipes really did a great job at removing the dirt and make up from my skin. You will definitely smell white tea extract and fragrance (which may bother some). I did not use them to remove any eye makeup since I use waterproof remover that purpose. The snap on lid is an added bonus as I tend to always rip off the other type that sticks on. These wipes would be great for travel, post gym or those lazy or late nights when the bathroom just seems so far away from your bed (if you’ve been there you can relate).  A couple of things to note these wipes are not oil-free, the ingredients does contain soybean oil and my skin felt a little tight afterward (which didn’t last long).

Price: $6 for  30 count

What I like: They are 99.1% natural and no parabens.

What I don’t like: The smell doesn’t really bother me but I would prefer scentless wipes. I could see the smell being a little overwhelming for some.

Would I recommend: Definitely recommend for makeup removal and travel wipes. They get the job done.

Where can you find: You can find Burt’s Bees products in pharmacys, specialty and grocery stores.
